Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® Program

There’s never been a better time to save up to 20% on energy costs.*

Customers who improve their home’s energy efficiency through the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program, typically experience energy bill savings of up to 20%.*

Program Benefits

  • Lower energy bills
  • Improved indoor air quality
  • Less energy use
  • Enhanced comfort

How it Works

Step 1: A BPI (Building Performance Institute) Certified Participating Contractor, who is specially trained in energy efficiency, visits your home & performs an energy audit.

Step 2: The Contractor reviews a summary of improvements with you that could help you save the most money on your energy bills. You will learn about opportunities to reduce air leakage, properly insulate your home and keep your heating and cooling systems operating at peak efficiency, and more. A comprehensive report with cost estimates for specific upgrades will be sent to you.

Step 3: You select energy efficiency improvements for your home and contact a Participating Contractor.

Step 4: Apply for 0% APR financing and/or up to $5,000 in rebates. The Participating Contractor will explain which improvements qualify for rebates and/or financing and submit the rebate application on your behalf.

Potential savings upgrades may include:

  • Air and Duct Sealing
  • Insulation
  • Heating and Cooling System
  • Water Heater
  • And more!

Energy Efficiency is More Affordable than You May Think

The contractor will help to ensure you receive any applicable program offers including:

  • Rebates up to $5,000
  • 0% APR financing options up to $10,000 for 7 years OR up to $15,000 for 10 years, with the On-Bill Repayment Program (OBRP). Click here for financing details.
