Program Details
Energy Star® certified high-efficiency equipment can help you save energy and money. Now, choosing high efficiency is more affordable. When you upgrade your HVAC and/or Water Heating systems you can get rebates up to $750 for eligible Water Heaters or up to $1,750 for eligible HVAC Equipment.
Plus, take advantage of 0% APR financing options up to $15,000 for 7 years with the On-Bill Repayment Program (OBRP). Click here for financing details available. Note: A Participating Contractor is required to qualify for financing and the OBRP financing incentive.

*The above rebate amounts are for projects installed July 1, 2023 or later. All projects installed prior to July 1, 2023 are only eligible for the previous rebate incentives. Click here for a list of rebate incentives for projects installed prior to July 1, 2023.

Enhanced Incentive for Low to Moderate Income (LMI) Residents
An additional $200 incentive is available to residents who meet LMI income qualifications for each qualifying piece of equipment.

- Current Elizabethtown Gas residential customer
- Completed application received with paid invoice and/or receipt within 120 days of purchase date
- Use natural gas for home and/or water heating, depending on equipment replaced
Income-Qualified Eligibility
Income-Qualified Enhanced Incentive Requirements
Income-eligible Customers may qualify for an additional $200 rebate per qualifying piece of equipment plus up to 10 years for repayment.
Ways to qualify:
- Customer residency within Low or Moderate Income Census Tract and income below 400% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines; or
- Participation in a Safety Net Program*** – e.g. Universal Service Fund (USF) – visit ETGSaveEnergy.com for a list of eligible programs; or
- Income Verification Documentation – Income below 400% of Federal Poverty Guidelines

Documentation Required:
- Current Utility Bill
- Documentation from a State/Federal agency that states the receipt of or the forthcoming receipt of, government assistance
- Income Verification: Customer provides income verification documents. Income Below 400% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines at Time of Purchase.
- Self-Certification: Customer resides within eligible income census tract
Required documentation may include either:
- If paid weekly, paystubs for 4 consecutive weeks within last 8 weeks of the application submission date
- If paid twice a month or every two weeks, 2 consecutive paystubs
- If self-employed, copy of latest federal income tax statement with schedule C showing profit/loss
- Social Security benefits – Current year award letter, bank statement or check (including children benefits)
- Pension – Benefit award letter, current pension statement, direct deposit or 1099 forms
- Unemployment benefits – Benefit determination letter or 2 consecutive benefit pay stubs
- Child support/Alimony – Award letters
- Rental Income – Copy of latest federal income tax statement with Schedule E or lease for all tenants and/or rent receipts or notarized vacancy agreement letter

Newly increased rebates are valid for all equipment installed July 1, 2023 or later. For your convenience, you can apply for natural gas and electric equipment incentives through either your gas or electric provider. However, you are only eligible for one incentive, per piece of equipment.

Gas Equipment Only
Please use this form if you are applying for a rebate for natural gas-powered equipment through Elizabethtown Gas.

Gas & Electric Equipment
Please use this form if you are applying for a rebate for natural gas and/or electric powered equipment through JCP&L or PSE&G.

Once your application is approved, please allow up to 60 days to receive the rebate check.
Note: ETG reserves the right to verify products installed before issuing payment. Customer agrees to permit a representative to have reasonable contact with customer to verify the products that were installed.
